Kayla Robinson

I am currently a PhD student at York University under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Steele in the Interpersonal Perception and Social Cognition Lab.

 

My research interests include inter-and intra- group dynamics/perceptions, educational equity, and early bias intervention. 

 

My Master's thesis evaluated the effects of a high school anti-Black racism course on Black and non-Black students' psychosocial well-being, academic engagement, and racial attitudes.

 

My current research seeks to evaluate the conditions under which Black women affiliate with or distance themselves from another minority group member.
